Learning Disabilities

learning disability

Learning impairments, sometimes known as learning disorders, are a catch-all phrase for a wide range of learning issues. A learning handicap is not caused by a lack of intelligence or motivation. Children with learning impairments are not lazy or stupid. In truth, majority are just as intelligent as everyone else. Simply said, their brains are wired differently. This distinction influences how they receive and interpret information. Simply put, children and adults with learning difficulties see, hear, and comprehend things in unique ways. This can make it difficult to learn and apply new information and abilities. Reading, writing, math, thinking, listening, and speaking are the most prevalent types of learning difficulties.

Autism – Difficulties in mastering specific academic skills can be caused by pervasive developmental disorders such as autism and Asperger’s syndrome. Individualized remedial instruction is provided for children with unique developmental abnormalities of scholastic skills.
