o Concept and Definition of Nutrition, Malnutrition and Health, Minimum Nutritional Requirement and RDA, Energy in human nutrition, growth and development from infancy to adulthood, growth monitoring and promotion.
Chapter 4- Community Nutrition
o Concept of Community, Factors Affecting Health of The Community, Nutritional Assessment and Surveillance, Diet Survey
Chapter 5- Food Commodities
Chapter 6- Diet Therapy
o Basic Concept, Team Approach to Health Care, Routine Hospital Diets, Diets for Different Febrile Conditions, Etiological Factors, Etiology, Disease of The Liver and Biliary System, Anemias
